Description

Repair Kit

A high-pressure inflatable pool is built to last, but a puncture can always happen — the corner of a decking board, a dropped object, an unlucky knock. The GIGI FRANCE Repair Kit is made for exactly that: sealing a tear or a tiny puncture quickly, without taking the pool out of use.

The kit includes self-adhesive patches and a high-strength glue compatible with the high-pressure inflatable structure. The repair is done cold, on dry fabric, in a few minutes and with no special tools. Once the patch is applied and the glue has dried, the pool is watertight again.

That is exactly why it comes with every GIGI FRANCE bundle: with a pool, a hot tub or an ice bath from GIGI, you receive it automatically in the box. No need to order it separately — it is already there, ready to keep in your pool’s carry bag so you never find yourself without it when you need it.

It is also available to buy on its own, for owners who want a second one to hand or need to replace a used-up kit.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need planning permission or a declaration to the local council?
No, in the vast majority of cases. GIGI FRANCE pools are removable structures. In France, a pool with less than 10 m² of surface area requires no works declaration — standard GIGI FRANCE models are below this threshold. They also have no impact on your property tax. Rules vary by country and local regulations: check with your local council if you have any doubt.
What surface can the pool be installed on?
On any flat, stable surface: lawn, slab, wooden or tiled terrace, concrete. No specific concrete slab is required. Allow a space slightly larger than the pool's dimensions so you can move around and reach the filtration.
How long to set it up and be able to swim?
Inflation takes under 30 minutes with the electric pump supplied. Connecting the filtration unit takes a few more minutes. Filling with water — the part that takes time — depends on your model's volume and your tap pressure: allow several hours. Plan the setup the day before to swim the next morning.
Is the pool compatible with a heat pump?
Yes. GIGI FRANCE pools are compatible with standard heat pumps on the market. The pump connects as a bypass on the existing filtration circuit.
What happens in the event of a leak or technical problem?
Every GIGI FRANCE pool comes with a complete repair kit (patches and glue) so you can deal with any small puncture yourself. The 1-year manufacturer's warranty covers manufacturing defects: replacement or refund, no argument. Our support team replies within 24 hours by email, phone or WhatsApp.
Can you sit on the edge of the pool?
Yes. High-pressure inflatable technology (15 PSI) makes the wall rigid enough to support the weight of a seated adult. It's one of the fundamental differences from a conventional inflatable, whose edges sag.
What is the difference between 1.20 m and 1.50 m depth?
At 1.20 m, children can stand on the bottom and adults can paddle and relax. It's the ideal depth for family leisure use. At 1.50 m, adults have water up to their shoulders standing — the real swimming depth, the one that lets you do laps, float on your back, feel like you're in a pool. Each model in our catalogue states its depth.
